Before I was designing brands for other founders, I was trying to build one of my own. I started a product brand from scratch and grew it into a worldwide business, getting our products stocked by retailers across the globe.

Which meant doing all the fun founder things...

* Coming up with the idea.
* Figuring out who the hell it was actually for.
* Working out the strategy.
* Spending money and hoping it was the right decision.
* Making things up as I went.
* Wearing approximately 97 different hats.
